Medical Space Gets Tight

We are looking hard to invest in health care with strong demographic trends to provide tailwinds to this article‘s thesis. Here, the authors at Transwestern probably overstate the possible demand relative to the current supply as medical office can easily move into retail and more traditional office space where there is ample supply. Additionally, internet, web conferencing, and algorithm-based care will help reduce some doctors visits. Health care is going to ramp up in the next two decades as there will be more people over 65 than under 18 for the first time in our nation’s history around 2030.  The supporting charts in the article are telling.
